A photobook cut of Nogizaka46's Ioki Mao in a "school swimsuit" is flooded with criticism

Ioki Mao (19) of Nogizaka46 is releasing a photobook, and these photos were posted as a teaser to the official X account. Many people expressed their shock with comments such as, "I think the school swimsuit is a bit too much...", "What kind of outfit is she wearing?", "This is not good..." and "It's just so sad."
There were also calm comments such as, "She is not at fault, but school swimsuits are not okay. Almost all kids wear them. Content aimed at the masses should not be allowed to sexually exploit them. I hope this doesn't become a precedent. It's a different situation from bikinis."

1. [+1213, -31] Japan is a lolicon country

2. [+506, -6] Is this what school swimsuits look like?

3. [+451, -7] The Akimoto Yasushi groups have a lot of swimsuit gravure photos...

4. [+19, -92] School swimsuits are more erotic than barely there bikinis

5. [+273, -58] I feel like this is pretty common, school swimsuit gravure isn't rare, no? So what's the big deal?

 >> They're just using it as a promotional tactic

 >> No, it's just that something that has been around for a long time is finally being reevaluated in Japan, a pedophile paradise, and it's coming under fire.
Expressions that condone the sexual exploitation of children have no place in popular commerce.

 >> It's out of line in this day and age. There are people out there who sexualize children, so I wish they'd be stricter about this kinda thing.

6. [+317, -8] Stirring up people's desires and making a lot of money while you're young and cute is the core of the entertainment industry

7. [+20, -122] The people criticizing are just jealous

8. [+180, -35] Nogizaka is totally losing momentum to FRUITS ZIPPER

9. [+500, -13] Akimoto idols are quite connected to the AV industry, aren't they? School swimsuits are basically what middle and high school students wear, and even though it's entertainment, I feel like it encourages adult men to look at middle and high school girls in a sexual way...

 >> DMM distributes AKB48's theater performances. MUTEKI, the AV maker where four former AKB members debuted, is part of the DMM group. It has since been absorbed into another company, but was part of the DMM group when they made their AV debut.
Yasushi Akimoto and the president of DMM have known each other for a long time.

  >> What's this got to do with Nogizaka?

10. [+75, -7] Eh, I like Ioki-chan, so I'm shocked to see her dressed like this!

11. [+16, -65] She would be happy if the photobook sells, and as long as she didn't refuse it, it's fine. People criticize every time, which is why they say a woman's enemy is another woman...

 >> Do you really think she's happy with selling this way?
I don't think it's just women who are criticizing. Aren't you being a little too short-sighted?

 >> This is a cut that is being criticized because it calls into question sexual ethics. I don't need to explain why, considering what kind of demographic the use of items that remind of minors, such as school swimsuits and school backpack recorders, is trying to satisfy, do I? Don't you feel it's strange to treat them like a sex toy?

12. [+7, -20] I keep hearing about sexual exploitation a lot, but what does it actually mean? If you find the opposite sex attractive, does that count as exploitation?

13. [+106, -0] Ioki-chan doesn't even have this kind of image to begin with. She has a strong 'good girl' vibe among her peers.
