Former Nogizaka46 1st-gen members are getting married one after another! Rarin and Sayunyan… Fans are both surprised and celebrating: "It’s already been 14 years!"

Former Nogizaka46 member Seira Nagashima (30) announced her marriage on the 3rd through a handwritten statement. Her husband is actor Tomohiro Ichikawa (33), who is set to appear in the currently airing NHK morning drama Anpan. Fans are celebrating the wave of marriage announcements among former Nogizaka46 members.

Nagashima and Ichikawa revealed their marriage through a jointly signed letter. According to their agencies, they are already living together and have submitted their marriage registration, though the wedding ceremony and reception are yet to be decided.

On March 31, fellow 1st-gen member Sayuri Inoue also announced her marriage to 7ORDER member and actor Reo Nagatsuma, along with her first pregnancy.

Last year, 1st-gen member Kazumi Takayama married quiz writer and QuizKnock member Fukura P, while Nanase Nishino tied the knot with actor Yuki Yamada.

  1. This reminds me of the time when members from Morning Musume’s golden era were getting married in a rush. It’s best to marry while you have the momentum. You might think you still have time, but before you know it, 30 turns into 35, then 40 in a flash.

  2. With Nagashima, Inoue, Wakatsuki, and Nishino all married, the ‘94 group’s marriage rate has shot up. Rarin graduated nine years ago, but it’s amazing that someone a year younger, Yoshida Ayano Christie, is still an active member. She’s the same age as Ikoma and Marika.

  3. Following Sayunyan, now Rarin is getting married too! Congratulations! With this, the ‘94 generation now has Wakatsuki, Nanase, Sayunyan, and Rarin all married. That leaves Jō-san, Reika, and Kanarin. Jō-san might marry soon, but Reika and Kanarin seem unlikely… Though I probably shouldn’t say that. Anyway, congratulations, Rarin! Wishing you happiness! There are still about three first-gen Nogizaka members who haven’t married yet. People like Mai Shiraishi, Manatsu Akimoto, and Sayuri Matsumura are still single.

    > > Well… probably… but for the average person, the ones they recognize are around Mai Shiraishi, Nanase Nishino, Sayuri Matsumura, Manatsu Akimoto, Erika Ikuta, and Mizuki Yamashita.

    > > Most of them will likely be married by 35.

    > > I don’t know a single one of them.

    > > Just a simple question, but why is it that the otaku who invested huge amounts of money and time are still unmarried (or worse, still virgins)? If you're a Yahoo commenter with otaku tendencies, don’t you feel pathetic?

    > > If you don’t understand this comment, then you’re not a fan. Why would someone who isn’t a fan read a Nogizaka article and even take the time to comment? Isn’t that just a waste of time? Don’t you think it’s stupid?

    > > I laughed at how creepy these comments are.

    > > Hey… you’re pretty creepy. You must be a hardcore old fan.

  4. Me too, I am getting married to a first-gen Nogizaka member. These women have pursued their dreams from a young age, showing strong determination to survive the harsh entertainment world. Even after graduation, they’ve chosen grounded lives and are now reaching the milestone of marriage. Their ability to maintain such perspective and maturity at this age is remarkable. They will surely be wonderful wives and mothers. I simply want to send my blessings to these soaring angels. > > Me too???

    > > Me too???

    > > It's a dangerous season.

    > > You chatting with an AI?..

    > > An unattainable delusion... I'm starting to feel sorry.

    > > Check their past comments. The subject is always weird.

    > > Delusions are fun, huh!

    > > If I say something like this, the Yahoo Comments AI will catch it, so I won't say it directly, but... (Please understand what I mean).

  5. I don’t really know much about the idol scene, but once they quit, it’s their life to do as the please with. I don’t even think it’s newsworthy… Well, I guess it means they still have demand after leaving the idol world. It’s a world I don’t quite understand.

  6. Please don’t ask unmarried graduated members, "So, what about you?" It’s a different topic. Speaking of announcements, I remember a case where someone sent a marriage announcement to the press, but another big-name singer also announced their wedding at the same time. The first person only got six reporters and photographers combined, while the big-name singer dominated all the newspaper front pages. Even if you say it’s "just a report," it can have lasting effects. These days, it’s rare for both men and women to hold a press conference together. Are there still celebrities who could command that kind of attention?

  7. Honestly, seeing longtime handshake event attendees face the reality that their favorite idol is marrying a handsome actor must be a complicated feeling.

  8. Reading this article, I was once again reminded that reporters see people as objects. There’s absolutely no sense of respect or admiration—just a need to turn everything into content.

  9. I never really followed Nogizaka closely, but from these pictures, I realized many of them have a cute atmosphere but don’t necessarily look that attractive up close.

  10. Graduates from Sakamichi and 48 groups have almost no career prospects after leaving. Even someone as popular as Oshima Yuko has completely disappeared from the scene. That leaves marriage as their only real option, so of course, it turns into a rush.

  11. Maybe there will be good news soon for first-generation members like Shiraishi, Matsumura, Ikoma, and Fukagawa.

  12. Honestly, the excitement is mostly among a few passionate fans. For me, the couple that would cause an explosion of excitement is Nagano Mei and Meguro Ren. If these two got married, I think about half of Japan would be excited.

  13. There are a lot of news about former Nogizaka members getting married. Congratulations. Fans must be celebrating too.

  14. Inoue Sayuri used to say she didn't want to get married while in Nogizaka, lol. Well, as she grew older and the circumstances changed, she clearly reconsidered.

  15. For hardcore fans, they're still far from being a target. They’re always right there in front at live venues! It's like an office marriage — you'd never meet if you weren't always around.

  16. Mai Shiraishi, Sayuringo, and Manatsu might be next, right? On the other hand, there will definitely be members who will continue to stay single.

  17. I'm only interested in Ikoma-chan's marriage news. The rest? Not really my concern. Sorry for the personal opinion.

  18. Well, it seems like 30 is the benchmark for marriage. So, I guess Manatsu and others are still active, and Ayakuri is also around..
