Morning Musume's Oda Sakura explains and apologizes after a photo with a man leaks online, "I deeply regret it."

Oda began by saying, "Last night, a photo of me with a man was posted on the internet," and apologized, saying, "First and foremost, I sincerely apologize for causing any disturbance." She then acknowledged, "The person in the photo is indeed me." She continued explaining the situation, saying, "I went to a photographer I know, who was taking pictures with my family and friends, and among the many photos, one of them was a shot with just the photographer and me. Out of all the solo shots, only this photo of the two of us was uploaded."

1. [+93, -818] She's pretty cute, right?

2. [+1630, -153] There's no need to apologize! She's an amazing singer and has already contributed so much, so she can go get married if she wants!

3. [+1868, -25] Even at 26 yo, she's not allowed to take a photo with a man?

4. [+1254, -16] At 26, isn't it okay to be in a relationship with a man?

5. [+882, -12] It’s sad that you have to apologize for being in a relationship during your most adorable years... but I guess that’s what being an idol is all about.

6. [+558, -11] Despite the rumors of deepfake AI or photoshopped images aimed at bringing her down, she stood firm and said, "That’s me" before the concert. In both a good and bad way, it’s so typical of Oda-chan.

7. [+339, -142] It really feels like anyone can become an idol nowadays.

8. [+519, -8] The room and the man are too messy, and they didn’t even look like a couple, so it’s really a puzzling photo. Oda doesn’t even have a face you'd show to your boyfriend.

9. [+35, -23] She wants to be pampered by everyone, make money from it, and also have a boyfriend.

10. [+252, -46] It’d be great if the whole "idol relationship scandal" thing and the need to apologize fo it stopped. They should just be free to date whoever they want. If fans leave because of it, that's their choice.
