Top Hostess Remiremi, Who Made Over 100 Million Yen in Sales in a Day, Talks About Her Childhood Struggles and How They Have Become Her Strength: 'It's Tough, but It's a World Where It's Easier to Be Recognized'

Remiremi: "I originally grew up in a single-parent household and had to take out student loans to go to school, so there were a lot of tough times. I was loved a lot, but my mom was very busy, and I had a younger sister and brother. As the eldest, I wanted attention and to be seen, so I felt like I had to be number one at something. I grew up being competitive and always did the most noticeable things, like being the conductor at school music events or running anchor in relays. I could do pretty much anything, so I was always trying to grab my mom’s attention. As the older sibling, I felt like it was my duty to endure, but I was always thinking about what I could do to get her attention. I think that habit still sticks with me now, and I’m able to think and act on what I need to do to be number one. I feel like those childhood experiences are still serving me well. That’s why I don’t think growing up in a single-parent household is a bad thing at all. In fact, people with complex family backgrounds often end up thriving for a long time, and it becomes their strength."

Ten years ago, making 30 million yen (around 183.500€) in birthday sales was considered legendary, right? How come there are so many people making over 100 million (611.800€) now, even with the economy being this bad?

I can't believe I'm wasting my time reading a long post from some nobody hostess named RemiRemi

There's just something different in the beauty of girls working night jobs from those working day jobs, right?

If she had been raised in a single-parent household and was unattractive, her life might have turned out very differently, don’t you think?

>> This face again. Why do all hostess girls and influencers have the same face?

A person who is competitive and smart would never become a hostess in the first place. It's a pity.
