Ryoko Hirosue diagnosed with bipolar disorder, suspends all entertainment activities to focus on recovery.
"After her detention was lifted on April 16, Hirosue was admitted to a medical facility in Tokyo, where she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and hyperthyroidism. She is still undergoing treatment under medical supervision and will continue her recovery at home while attending outpatient care."
They also added, "Through this incident, both Hirosue herself and those around her deeply regret having dismissed her struggles and poor condition as simply 'not feeling well.' For the time being, she will suspend all entertainment activities to focus on her physical and mental recovery."
