Showa era idols

Hayashi Hiroka appeared in Pokapoka but I was surprised by how cute she was (as someone in their forties, I had the rude image of her being a sharp-tongued older woman). How about talking about the cute idols of the Showa era? Please, let's keep the conversation peaceful and avoid anti-comments 🙇.

>> Amazing! There’s no one as beautiful as her these days!

>> Isn't she the cutest? I always thought she looked like a fawn.

She retired, but I really liked Kurosawa Yuu, and when I found out she was the daughter of Hayashi Hiroka, I was surprised because her mom was also so cute.

Just barely from the Showa era

Garumin (nickname for users of Girls Channel)'s one and only idol, Nakamori Akina.

>> I never thought she would come back for a concert in the Reiwa era, so it was really moving.

Idols from the Showa era had unique voices, and each one was different. Today’s idols aren’t bad, but they all sound kinda similar with that shakey style, like in Hello! Project. Legends like Matsuda Seiko, Nakamori Akina, and Yamaguchi Momoe all had distinct voices. It’s not about being good or bad, just more fun because of their different styles.

They were strong enough to stand on their own. Group like Onyanko Club were pretty rough compared to solo acts. There’s a big difference between solo and group. Nowadays, there aren’t really any solo idols...

It's not just their looks, but their unique singing voices and great songs. Old-school idols had it all.

Oginome Yoko, Koizumi Kyoko, Nakayama Miho

Of course, Seiko-chan
